 Eligibility & Requirements

To be eligible for the MBBS program at NOSMA, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: You must be at least 17 years old on or before the 31st of December of the admission year.
  • Academic Qualification: Completion of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects.
  • Minimum Marks: At least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) aggregate for the general category, and 40% marks for reserved category students.
  • Entrance Exam: NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) qualification is mandatory for all Indian applicants.

Curriculum & Structure

The 6-year program is structured to provide a strong foundation in medical sciences, followed by intensive clinical training:

Final Year (Clinical Internship): A hands-on clinical internship where students work in affiliated hospitals such as the Republican Clinical HospitalVladikavkaz City Hospital, and other academy-affiliated medical centers.

First 2-3 Years (Pre-Clinical): Focus on theoretical subjects including Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Histology, Pathology, Pharmacology, and Microbiology.

Next 2 Years (Clinical): Introduction to clinical medicine with rotations in major departments such as General Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Neurology, and Psychiatry.
